The Quiet Simplicity of Mediumship After Loss

Why the bond endures, how grief distorts perception, and when the mind finally stabilizes enough to hear the dead clearly.

Photo by Andraz Lazic on Unsplash

Mediumship appears mysterious from the outside, but when you had a genuine bond with someone in life, the communication after death is strikingly simple. The relationship does not end when the body stops. The continuity remains intact because connection is not a biological function. It is an energetic one. What makes post-death communication difficult is not the soul on the other side, but the human being left behind. Grief distorts perception. Pain destabilizes inner clarity. Doubt undermines natural sensitivity. These distortions make it appear that the presence of the departed is faint or uncertain, even when it is not.

The connection you had in life does not sever in death. What dissolves is the emotional residue, not the relationship.

After death, the emotional debris of the relationship falls away. The soul sheds the psychological scars, old patterns, and unresolved tensions that defined human interaction. What remains is the core bond, undistorted. Therefore, communication from someone you loved can feel pure, direct, and calm. The turbulence that existed in life is gone. The challenge lies not in reaching them, but in reaching them without the interference of your own grief.

For this reason, I advise people to wait approximately one year before attempting deliberate communication. This is not a mystical rule. It is psychological and neurological reality. Human consciousness needs time to stabilize after a loss, especially a meaningful one. When the memory of the person brings warmth instead of collapse, gratitude instead of regret, and openness instead of desperation, the emotional field becomes conducive to genuine perception.

Clarity arrives when the heart can remember without breaking.

A year is the approximate time required for all levels of human consciousness to metabolize loss when the relationship was healthy and the death was not traumatic. This is not rigid doctrine. It is a practical threshold. Evaluate yourself honestly. What remains unresolved? Where does the grief still sit? Your internal state becomes the filter—clear or distorted—through which the communication must pass.

To understand why timing matters, you need to recognize that grief does not move through the mind alone. It moves through four major layers of consciousness, each with its own pace and function.

The mental level reacts first. It attempts to interpret the loss, assign meaning, and replay regrets. When rumination slows, and the mind stops trying to re-negotiate something that can no longer be changed, mental healing begins.

The emotional level processes differently. It carries the raw ache. It notices what pierces the heart. It reacts to anniversaries, photographs, and unexpected triggers. Emotional equilibrium returns only when you can feel the loss without drowning in it.

The soul level works silently. It does not grieve in the emotional sense. It absorbs, records, and stores the experience for future integration. The soul distills the event into wisdom, but it cannot reveal that wisdom while the mind and emotions are still in shock.

The physical level is the slowest and most primitive. The body often behaves as if the person is still alive. You may think you see them in crowds, reach for your phone to call them, or momentarily forget they are gone. This is not denial. It is biology. The nervous system does not update instantly. It learns slowly through repetition, much like a child encountering death for the first time.

When a loved one has been ill for a long period, anticipatory grief begins before the crossing. This shifts the timeline. The person who is dying takes part in this preparatory mourning unconsciously at the soul level, helping their loved ones adjust. When death finally comes, relief is common. Relief is not cruelty. It is compassion’s reflex when suffering ends.

Death itself is a sacred moment because the soul transitions into a state of expanded awareness beyond pain, fear, and regret. From this elevated state, their communication becomes concise, loving, and free of human confusion. They see life with a clarity the living rarely access.

The dead speak from a place beyond sorrow. Their simplicity is not emptiness but the purity of an unburdened consciousness.

It is important to acknowledge a distinction that many mediumship teachings overlook. Communicating with someone you loved is fundamentally different from reaching someone you did not know. With a loved one, the bond already exists. You are not creating a connection. You are reactivating it. This makes the process easier, provided grief has settled.

Connecting with someone you never met requires a unique skill set. You must build rapport without a shared history, tune perception without emotional cues, and validate information without relational memory. You can learn it, but it’s a technical practice that requires discipline, boundaries, and discernment. You cannot rely on the natural recognition that exists with someone familiar.

Mediumship is not a mystical privilege. It extends the bonds we form in life. When grief settles and the emotional field becomes steady, communication with a loved one unfolds with surprising ease. The difficulty lies in the human system, not the spiritual one. When reaching unfamiliar spirits, the process becomes more technical and requires genuine skill. By honoring the psychological and spiritual mechanisms of grief, and by recognizing the difference between natural connection and trained perception, mediumship becomes not only accessible but grounded, ethical, and deeply human.

How Can we Heal the Earth?

Spirit Guide and Ascended Master, White Eagle, responds in this channeled transmission

Photo by Jakob Owens on Unsplash

I asked White Eagle, “How can we heal the world?”

White Eagle answers:

We are guardians and keepers of the Earth like we are keepers and caretakers of our own lives. Although we are responsible for the toxic state of environmental waste, that is not the core issue. — Please be considerate of your actions in relation to the well-being of all life. — Yet, the core problem in healing the Earth is not to heal the Earth but to heal the psychic wounds of humanity. We carry many conscious and unconscious wounds that are making life on Earth struggle for vitality.

“Spiritual people know that “As above, so below”. But I add to that, as within, so without. What goes on internally on an individual basis goes on externally. Our inner world creates our external world. When we carry a wounded psyche, we can create a toxic physical environment. Simply doing things that are meant to soothe our mental and emotional state of pain will create a toxic environment for all of life.

“We are making the world a toxic place by indulging in things like addiction, overspending, sexual obsession, and constantly criticizing ourselves.

“Healing the self will heal the world.

“The most common wounds we carry from early childhood experiences create the toxic programing of low self-esteem, unfounded fears, and illusionary beliefs. It can take a lifetime to heal such trauma. But behavior changes can help us on the way to healing. Instead of responding with that obsession or addiction — pause. Just wait one moment to see it. Know it is there. And consider why you are doing it. Just paying attention brings it to full awareness, and awareness is key to healing. We cannot heal what we do not see.

“It’s clear that getting medical help and using all available treatments is important for healing the body and mind.

“But what can you do for yourself as you heal?

“To begin healing the world, you can embrace some very simple changes. Things that reverse the toxicity of the world are — healthy boundaries, kindness with mindfulness, and healthy self-soothing actions like meditation, balanced movement, beneficial diet. Although healing deep-seated traumas takes a great deal of effort and needs a great deal of help. Bringing what you can into the process will keep it from spreading into the world at large.

“Healing the world starts with the action of being good to yourself, and being good to yourself will become a habit over time that changes everything.

“One more aspect of healing the world to note is that every time we have authentic joy, not the joy we get from vengeance or competition, but the joy that lights up our soul, we heal the world. Do joyful things. Those things you neglect as self-indulgent, like hobbies or interests. Those things that give you experiences to connect you with the Earth or community. Those things that you share with others. Do those. Joy gives the Earth an infusion of energy that heals it better than any healing modality ever could.”

I Asked My Guardian Angels for Help with Everything… and It Actually Worked

Photo by Darius Bashar on Unsplash

They can’t help if you don’t ask; it’s a rule.

When I was five years old, someone told me we all have Guardian Angels watching over us. They’re invisible, always around, and they help us when we really need it, kind of like the spiritual version of Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. You believe in them, but you don’t expect to ever really see them in action.

And I believed it. I figured they lived far away in the heavens, maybe stepping in when things got terrible.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Today, I’m a spiritual teacher, psychic, and channel. I work with Spirit Guides and Guardian Angels every single day. And what I’ve learned over decades of spiritual practice turned that childhood belief completely upside down, in the best way.

The Truth About Guardian Angels

For the past 28 years, I’ve studied spirituality from the source. Not from religion, dogma, or tradition, but by building a direct connection to Spirit itself. What I discovered is that Guardian Angels aren’t distant beings who only show up in dramatic moments. They’re constantly around, wanting to help with everything from the big to the (seemingly) small.

Need a parking spot? A job? Emotional clarity? Protection from toxic energy? They’ve got you. But there’s one key thing: you have to ask.

The Law of Free Will is the reason for this. This spiritual rule explains that we must invite Spirit to help us in our lives. This isn’t a punishment or test. It’s sacred respect. Our lives belong to us. So if you want help from Spirit, ask for it clearly and directly.

You Don’t Need to Believe

One of the most powerful things I’ve learned is that Guardian Angels don’t care if you meditate every day or whether you believe in them at all. Their help is unconditional. There are no strings, no bargains, no sacrifices. You don’t need to say, “If you help me, I swear I’ll quit this or start that.” That’s human thinking, not divine.

In fact, even atheists receive help, not because they “believe,” but because they ask from a place of genuine need. Spirit doesn’t want to change your mind. They just want to help. They live in a state of Grace and hold you in the same power.

Signs From Spirit Are Often Subtle

You don’t need to hear voices or see visions to connect with Spirit. (Although some people do!) If you’re frustrated because you’re not “getting messages,” try this: ask for a sign.

It could be a butterfly that swoops right in front of your face. Or a song that gets stuck in your head out of nowhere. If that happens, look up the lyrics, there might be a message in there from them to you. Maybe you overhear a perfectly timed sentence in a stranger’s conversation or find a shiny coin on the ground when you’re feeling low. These are not coincidences. They’re Spirit nudging you gently, saying, “We’re here.”

Gratitude Isn’t Just Polite, It’s a Spiritual Superpower

Thanking your Guides isn’t just a gracious gesture. Gratitude is one of the most powerful energies we can tap into. When we feel grateful, especially before anything has even shown up, it shifts our ego out of the way and opens a clear path for Spirit to step in.

The ego hates the surrender energy of gratitude. It wants control. But when you’re in a space of genuine gratitude, the ego backs down. That’s when the magic happens.

How to Ask for Protection

Perhaps the most underrated gift from our Guides is energetic protection. We are constantly absorbing other people’s stress, moods, and energy, and over time, it wears us down. The good news is that Spirit can help clear all of that and create a strong boundary around your energy field. All you have to do is ask.

Here is a simple prayer I teach my students and clients. You can say it anytime, either silently or out loud:

“I ask my Spirit Guide and only my Spirit Guide to clear my energy of anything that is not mine and to create a bubble of protection from any and all energy that is not mine. I also ask that you protect me from any and all harm, physical or energetic, from any other person, place, or event. Thank you.”

That’s it. Just don’t test it by doing something reckless. Spirit can protect you from many things, but not from your own free will. They cannot stop you from making a choice that puts you at risk. So wear the seatbelt, lock your doors, and take the steps that keep you safe.

Guidance Comes in Many Forms

I have talked about getting guidance from Spirit, but I think I should explain what it means. How it shows up can be surprisingly subtle. You do not have to see them, hear them, or even feel them in a big way to get answers.

Have you ever needed clarity and suddenly had a lightbulb moment while driving or showering? Inspiration might hit while doing the dishes or watching a movie. That is Spirit slipping in while your mind is relaxed. Their guidance often feels like your own thoughts, which is why it is easy to miss unless you are paying attention.

You might also feel a gentle nudge, a quiet urge to call someone, go somewhere, or check in on something. Following those nudges often leads to amazing synchronicities and even small miracles.

Just be aware that the ego can mimic this guidance. Learning the difference takes practice. Spirit’s voice is never loud, bossy, or judgmental. That is always the ego. Spirit speaks the truth, and it speaks gently. If the message feels harsh or is flat-out wrong, it is likely coming from your own mind.

Like anything meaningful, this takes time and experimentation. But the more you practice tuning in, the easier it gets, and the more magical life becomes.

The Bottom Line

Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides are not a fairy tale or a last-resort emergency hotline. They are real; they are close, and they want to help in your daily life, not just during your darkest hour. Whether you are deeply spiritual or just spiritual-curious, you can start working with them right now.

All you have to do is ask.

Will Science Ever Find God?

Unpacking the Mystery of Miracles, Dimensions, and the Unprovable Truths We Live With

https://unsplash.com/@ashleybatz

We still have a lot to learn about spiritual forces and their influence on us, including concepts like energy, psychic experiences, and higher consciousness. I don’t believe science will ever prove the existence of God, the Creator, divinity, or heaven. Nor do I think it can explain the full range of heavenly or miraculous experiences that manifest in the physical world. But I could be wrong.

Perhaps we’ll understand spirituality and miracles in the future, just like how far technology has come since ancient times. Imagine handing a cell phone to someone whose only tools are sticks and rocks. Picture their reaction as they see moving images, hear music, and scroll through photographs.

They would likely believe it was magic. They might see me as someone capable of miracles. Some might respond with awe, others with fear, but a few would be curious enough to want to learn how to use it. They could learn to operate it without ever grasping the technology behind it. To them, it would still seem miraculous, because the true mechanics of the tool are far beyond their current frame of reference. Yet the ability to use it would be right there in their hands.

They would try to describe it in their own terms, connecting it to what they already knew, even if their understanding wasn’t perfect. That might be exactly where we are today with our understanding of the spiritual.

To many, heaven seems like a fantasy. People dismiss miracles as coincidence. People ridicule belief in God, treating it like something only children or the naïve still cling to. The common scientific method struggles to define the notion of nonphysical consciousness. And yet, many are curious enough to learn how to work with these forces, even if they can’t explain them.

Science is poking around the edges of what spiritual people have known all along. People who have almost died have shared clear memories, meetings with others, or a sense of peace, even when their bodies were shutting down. Researchers have shown that meditation changes the brain in measurable ways. Studies of things like energy healing and prayer are happening, though still treated with skepticism.

None of it proves God exists, but it shows consciousness might not be limited to the brain—and that something real is happening when we connect with higher states. Just because we can’t fully explain it doesn’t mean it isn’t real. We might not have discovered all the possibilities yet.

I don’t believe we’ve scientifically figured out anything meaningful about the other worlds, realms, and dimensions that humans can access to create better lives. But spiritual people, psychics, seers, and mystics have learned how to work with them. They may not fully understand the source of what they’re tapping into, and they may face ridicule for trying, but they know how to use it.

Personally, I have no interest in waiting for science to confirm what I already experience. I’d rather focus on using what I can access now. I continue to learn how to apply these unseen forces every day to improve my life and to help others do the same.

The Surprising Thing Spirit Guides Really Want to Teach You

Spirit operates in mysterious ways, frequently defying our beliefs. So how do we make sense of that? We start by trying to understand Spirit from their point of view. Not from fear. Not from hierarchy. But from Truth.

When we work with Spirit, we’re not submitting to authority; we connect to the highest level of consciousness available to us. We are awakening. We are expanding. We are stepping into who we really are.

Working with Spirit means letting go. Letting go of what you thought “should” be. Letting go of inherited ideas. Letting go of control.

Soul evolution does not happen when we cling tightly to outdated paradigms. It happens when we are willing to see things as they actually are, not just how we wish they were.

I teach spirituality, but what I truly specialize in is helping people work with Spirit Guides. One reason I began this work is simple. I wanted to know the secrets of the universe by accessing divine wisdom. I wanted to understand everything from esoteric truths to the evolution of human consciousness.

Deep in my bones, I knew that if I could communicate with my Guides, I could access that knowledge. And I was right. Kind of.

When I started asking my Guides questions, I noticed something interesting. Sometimes they answered, and sometimes they didn’t. Especially for questions about the future. That used to frustrate me until I realized a deeper truth.

Spirit’s entire mission is to empower us. Not to fix us. Not to command us. But to help us grow. Their guidance is not there to make us dependent. It is there to remind us of our own strength.

Spirit Guides offer healing, insight, and clarity, but only in ways that uplift us, stretch our perspective, or help us align more fully with our soul’s truth.

And here is what that means in real life. You are in charge of your life. Not Spirit. Not God. Not angels.

Yes, you can receive help and guidance. But Spirit will not run your life for you. Giving up your power is the opposite of growth. That is the deeper meaning behind spiritual empowerment.

Many people come to spirituality believing they are “answering a calling.” But after decades of working with Spirit, I can tell you something important. There is no calling. Spirit does not select a chosen few. They do not crown prophets. They do not tell you that you are “the one.”

You choose this path, then Spirit simply meets you where you are.

We often have such a backwards view of spirituality that it ends up disempowering us. People believe Spirit is their boss. They believe God is counting their every sin. They believe angels will dictate their choices.

But that is not how Spirit works. Spirit Guides, Angels, Gods, and Goddesses are not here to control you. They are here to assist you. To walk beside you. To lift you up when you forget who you are.

Through religious conditioning, we learned divine beings should tell us what to do, how to act, and how to live. That belief is a real problem. It strips us of the very things we were born with: agency, desire, and free will.

Therefore, people often ask, “If God is real, why is the world the way it is?” The answer is that we are the creators of how we live on Earth, not God.

Children are starving not because of divine failure, but because we have created systems that allow that to happen. But just as we created those systems, we can change them. We can build something better. And Spirit will help us do it.

Spirit Guides are with us to co-create heaven on Earth. But we must ask. We must take part. Do not wait for divine permission to be who we already are.

Even if you do not believe in God, you still have beliefs about what God is, what Spirit is, and about who has authority over your life.

If you want to grow spiritually, you need to examine those beliefs. Ask yourself: Do I think Spirit controls me? Do I feel powerless in my life? Do I believe in fate more than freedom?

Those quiet little assumptions often block the deep connection you are seeking. You don’t have to change them, but simply being aware of them will help you navigate overcoming them.

I have met so many kind, spiritual people who still feel like they have no power. No choice. No agency. They are waiting. Waiting for destiny to show up. Waiting for Spirit to give them a purpose. Waiting to see what their calling is.

But here is the Truth. Your calling is something you decide. You are the voice of Spirit, made manifest in a human life.

So, what is Spirit actually here to do? Spirit is here to help you become the highest and truest version of yourself. They are here to guide, not to govern. To partner with you, not overpower you. To reflect your own light, not dim or control it.

Every step of the way, they are whispering the same Truth. You have the power to choose. You have the power to create. You have the power to change the world.

Your empowerment is sacred to Spirit Guides. It is what will change the Earth into the place we all know it can become. Take them as your partners in life and then ask them for help as you follow your heart; you cannot go wrong.

What Does it Mean to Be the Light?

When the Light obliterates darkness; only Truth remains.

All we truly have is the Light, the inner knowing that quietly reveals the truth of who we are. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t demand. It simply is. And continues, steady and radiant beneath all the noise.

Trusting ourselves, really trusting that inner Light, is perhaps the greatest challenge for a soul abused, wounded, or silenced. Especially for the sensitive, the empathic, and the spiritually open. Reclaiming that trust is revolutionary, especially when others taught you to doubt your truth in favor of their illusions.

But now is the time. Now we are called to trust ourselves more than we trust the projections of a world built on distortion. We must see through the glamor of those profiting from our confusion and return to what is quietly, eternally real.

There is immense power in claiming who you authentically are, without apology and without spiraling into doubt. Don’t lean on someone else’s vision of you. Don’t shrink to fit the frame they offer. Being authentic is not just about revealing yourself to the world; it’s about facing and embracing all parts of who you are — every shadow, every brilliance, every truth.

And as you accept yourself, as you see yourself clearly, your Light grows. It brightens. It strengthens.

Because you are the Light.

The gift of the Light is that it reveals the Truth.

As a divine being radiating into the world, you are the flame that exposes what cannot survive in the open. Corruption, greed, and deception — these forces thrive in darkness. But the Light dissolves what is false. It brings clarity, and with it, liberation.

When you focus on your light, you see your power. The greatest power you possess is your authenticity. To be true to yourself is not a minor act; it is a force that awakens the heart of humanity. That Light, your Light, is infectious. It inspires others to look within, to remember.

People have taught us to believe lies instead of our own intuition. And here’s the miracle: the Truth doesn’t need your belief to be real. Air doesn’t need you to believe it exists to fill your lungs. The sunlight doesn’t ask for worship to rise each day. The oak tree and the river don’t need your permission to exist.

Truth is the same. It exists without defense, without justification. It needs no champion, no cause, no temple, nor savior. It simply is.

Lies require effort. People must uphold, repeat, believe, and reinforce lies. But Truth stands on its own. It always has. It always will.

Once we see the Truth, nothing can hide it from the world.

Return to the Light within you. Trust it to always show you the Truth. Let it guide you home; not to what the world says you should be, but to what you’ve always been.

Experiencing the Power of Your Spirit Guides

How to Feel The Presence Beyond the Veil

In a world where misinformation is rampant, spiritual teachers can be compromised, and religions seem out of touch, having insight and guidance you can trust above all others is imperative. To get the guidance we seek, spiritual people need to have a deep and clear connection to their Spirit Guides.

Spirit Guides are beings of infinite love and wisdom who only desire to help you with anything you wish. You can build upon your connection to them with some practice, patience and a very bit of discipline. Through these things, you can build a connection with Spirit you can trust.

The most important thing to remember is that you can do this no matter how psychic or spiritual you are, what beliefs you hold, or how you live your life.

You do not have to be sensitive, devotional or even spiritual to get the gifts of wisdom, insight, and protection Spirit Guides offer.

I’ve spent 20+ years teaching people how to understand the ways to receive spiritual guidance from their very own teacher. Early in my journey, I learned with books and a few human teachers until the day my Spirit Guides gently yet firmly redirected me. They told me from that point on that they would be my only teachers. Since that moment, every insight I’ve shared and every word I’ve written has flowed from their wisdom.

You may have wondered whether you’ve truly felt your Guides’ presence. Perhaps you’ve questioned if that fleeting warmth or sudden knowing was real or just imagination. Spirit communicates in ways we can learn to recognize. One of the most immediate and verifiable ways to get their message is through the wisdom of the body.

The Body as a Sacred Receiver

One can doubt thoughts. One can dismiss visions. But when Spirit touches the physical body, the experience carries a weight that bypasses the skeptical mind. A tingle along the skin, a pressure at the crown of the head, or a wave of warmth in the chest. These are the signals that show the presence of the unseen.

I remember the first time my Guides made their presence undeniably known. A light tickle brushed my cheek as if a feather had grazed it. No breeze stirred the room. No physical cause explained it. In that moment, I understood this was their language, their way of saying, “We are here.”

An Invitation to Direct Experience

To begin with, find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably. Close your eyes and breathe deeply, allowing your awareness to settle into your body. There is no need to strain or force anything. Arrive in the stillness and focus on how your body feels at the moment.

Then, inwardly, speak to your Spirit Guide. Focus on just one Guide to keep the energy clear. Ask silently or aloud, “I ask my Guide and only my Guide to give me a physical sign of your presence. Let me feel you are with me now.”

After making your request, return your focus to your body. Resist the urge to analyze or expect. You could experience subtle pressure, warmth, or a wave of positive emotion.

If the signal feels faint, ask again for greater clarity. If it feels overwhelming, request gentleness. This is a conversation you take part in.

If you felt nothing, you still made progress. Even if nothing arises today, you have opened the way. Offer gratitude. End every attempt at connection with gratitude.

Why Gratitude Matters

Gratitude is the bridge that strengthens connection. Even when the senses seem silent, the energy of appreciation opens the way for deeper communion later.

Some people receive unmistakable physical confirmation on their first try. Others feel nothing they notice. Noticing Spirit’s touch can be hard, especially if you’re not used to paying attention to subtle sensations; it takes practice. Be patient. The more you engage in this way, the more attuned you will become.

The Path Forward

This simple exercise is a doorway. Once you learn to recognize your Guide’s energetic signature, you will notice their presence in other ways. You may see their hand in synchronicities, feel them in intuitive nudges, or know them in that quiet certainty that arises when you least expect it.

Remember that the most important teacher is already with you. You need only learn their language.

The Subtle Gifts from Spirit

The delightful ways they give us help every day.

In the hustle of everyday life, it’s easy to overlook the subtle ways Spirit touches our path. We often expect divine communication to come with dramatic flair — a booming voice from above, a mystical dream, or a sudden lightning bolt of clarity. But more often, Spirit works in gentle ways. These are the invisible gifts that shape our lives even when we don’t realize it.

Spirit — whether you call it God, Source, your Higher Self, or a team of loving Spirit Guides — is always active in our lives. The help we receive often arrives unannounced, wrapped in ordinary moments, and yet these gifts can shift the entire course of our journey.

Perhaps you suddenly took a different route home and later found out there had been an accident on your usual path. That nudge — that sense of “I don’t know why, but I feel I should…” — is one of Spirit’s most common gifts. It’s protection, even when we’re unaware we need it. Spirit can guide us away from harm, delay our steps just long enough to avoid danger, or prompt us to make a decision that changes everything for the better. Sometimes, what seems like a missed chance or canceled plan turns out to be a lucky escape from trouble. These moments may seem frustrating or confusing at the time, but when we reflect, we often realize how much we were being cared for behind the scenes.

Spirit also brings people into our lives at the perfect time. A stranger offers kind words when we’re struggling. An old friend calls out of the blue, just when we were thinking about them. These “coincidences” are rarely accidental. Spirit orchestrates these moments of connection, reminding us we’re never alone.

Another hidden gift is inspiration. Ideas, solutions, and creative bursts often come when we least expect them — while showering, walking, or drifting off to sleep. These are moments when our logical minds take a break, and Spirit can slip through the cracks. What feels like a random thought may be divine guidance steering us toward our next step.

Dreams are also a playground for Spirit’s messages. Even if we don’t remember them, the energy of those encounters can linger. We might wake up feeling lighter, comforted, or more confident. That’s because Spirit often uses dreams to heal, recharge, or plant seeds of wisdom.

The most profound gift of all, however, is inner peace. When we are on the right path, aligned with our truth, Spirit often floods us with a deep sense of calm. It’s not loud. It’s not showy. But it’s real — and it’s powerful.

So how do we receive more of these invisible blessings? By becoming aware. Pay attention to the small things — the inner nudges, the timing of events, the quiet reassurance that all will be well. The more we notice, the more we open the channel. Spirit won’t force its way in, but it will always respond to an open heart.

To build upon what Spirit can do for you, begin by asking for help. Spirit respects your free will and will not intervene unless invited. Start small. Ask to get somewhere on time, or to remember to call someone you’ve been meaning to reach out to. These minor requests open the door to greater communication. As you trust the process, you’ll find that Spirit steps in more often, in bigger ways.

These little experiments build your confidence and strengthen your bond with Spirit. Over time, your life feels more supported, more guided, and less uncertain. You’ll notice answers come more quickly, synchronicities line up more often, and a sense of quiet assurance settles into your daily rhythm.

Once you see how Spirit works in your life, you can ask for a gift of their choice. Asking for what they would love to give us is an extraordinary way to build upon the trust you have with them and allows them to show you how much they truly can offer. This kind of request moves beyond need and enters the realm of co-creation. It says to Spirit, “I trust you. Surprise me.” The results can be deeply moving — a gift you never imagined, a new path opening, or a sense of joy that arrives seemingly out of nowhere. It’s a beautiful reminder that Spirit not only supports us, but delights in our growth and happiness. Giving them a choice lets them show us how well they understand us, in surprising ways.

Even when we don’t see it, Spirit is present. Supporting. Guiding. Loving. The unseen help is just as real as the visible. And every day, in countless small ways, we are being gifted — often without even knowing it.

If you’re ready to expand your connection even further, I invite you to join my upcoming class designed to help deepen your co-creation with Spirit. “Gifts from Spirit” class begins on May 1st!

Let it Happen

The quiet wisdom of the soul wishes to speak

Let it happen. Follow that soft voice of intuition. Give yourself the gift of delicious moments of reflection to wake up the slumbering wisdom within.

The doubts flood your mind. So loud, so insistent. The mind screams but the certainty of intuition whispers. These whispers are so soft you don’t even notice them. Quiet insights differ from the constant mental chatter that blocks your wisdom.

Giving your thoughts a bit of rest, just a little breathing room, will help allow your intuition to have a moment to be noticed. Meditation is unnecessary, nor is any kind of formal or structured practice. Taking the time to be settled within awakens intuition. Being quiet for just a minute. Be quiet, any place and under any circumstance. One minute of quiet to relax the anxiousness of the mind. One minute of peace to allow yourself to connect with your inner being.

Your mental chaos will always be there. You can give it a break for a minute. When you do that, you can listen to your soul. Intuition is the wisdom of the soul. Intuition is the sweet whisper from the one who knows all you have been through. It remembers things you do not. The entire journey of your soul throughout the ages and into the future. All you have done in ancient times, in various realities, throughout the history of the universe. Your soul is an ancient being of light, experiencing all that is extraordinary about this world. While it remembers your connection to the stars, to distant planets, and ancient civilizations. And most profoundly, your soul knows your connection to the Earth and the Divine.

Intuition is your warning system, sensing when things do not feel right or safe. It knows when you should take a different route, avoid certain places to steer you away from harm. Intuition also reminds you of what you need to do for your well-being. It tells you when you should reach out to others and even shows you the future.

Your intuition is the most accurate predictor and advisor you’ll ever find. No technology available now or in the future can match that.

Taking a moment of quiet is like opening the door and inviting your intuition in. Perhaps you have ignored it, doubted it, or shunned it until now. Be patient. It may be shy and take some continued efforts of quiet to walk through that door and know it is welcome. It is worth however long it takes. A minute of peace, silence, or quiet every so often encourages your wisdom to share what it knows.

Once that happens, life becomes extraordinary.
