Mundane Tasks and Powerful Wisdom

Building communication and connection to Spirit can be a joyful experience!

I woke up at exactly 5:55am. Normally it would be an irritation to be awoken 5 minutes before my alarm went off, but on this day, it made me smile.

Let me explain.

It was the answer to a prayer. I had been working on connecting with Spirit. I read books on channeling Spirit Guides and Angels, and I read channeled materials from all the well-known psychic mediums. It seemed my desire to channel was out of reach because I didn’t have the ‘gift’. I practiced and prayed, and I got nothing.

Spirit Guides were an enigma to me, yet there wasn’t a time when I didn’t believe in their existence. It made sense to me that God wouldn’t send us to Earth without backup. I thought of them as beings who helped God make things easier for us. I knew they gave us protection and helped soothe us, but the most important gift they gave us is to remind us we are never alone.

This I knew in my heart as the foundational Truth of my soul.

I felt if I could get messages from them, my life would be so much easier. With hearing their wisdom, getting their insight and filled with their inspiration, my life would fall into place with ease. So, I set out on a quest to channel my Spirit Guide with the determination of one obsessed. I had the passion, the fortitude and the drive to make it happen. But, with no knowledge of how they operate or what they could do, naturally, I spent most of the time making all the mistakes of one unfamiliar with the ways of Spirit.

I became a master of how not to channel Spirit. I needed a break.

After taking a step back, I evaluated my intentions, let go of preconceived notions and other people’s beliefs. Then I finally got on the right track. The mysterious world of Spirit began to slowly and purposefully open before me. This happened because instead of beating myself up for not hearing them, not seeing them and not getting a message, I decided to ask them for favors.

I asked for things that would help me know they were there. I wanted to be sure that what I knew to be true was Truth. That is why I asked them to wake me up 5 minutes before my alarm when off. I made the ask of them before I went to sleep the night before. I spoke a silent prayer to my Spirit Guide and ONLY my Spirit Guide to wake me up 5 minutes before my alarm went off. When it happened, waking up to my clock at 5:55 was magical.

I was so happy and encouraged! I asked for more and more gifts, mundane and energetic. Asking for gifts of all types and interacting with Spirit on this playful level helped me to relax and receive more from them. Over time, I could communicate with them to the point of becoming an expert channel.

Through my journey of these and more powerful discoveries, they have taught me how they can help us and all the ways in which they can never help us. I have learned their Sacred Laws, their divine perspective, and what it is like in their heavenly world.

It is time to share all of it!

But first, I offer you a challenge. Ask them to wake you up a few minutes before your alarm is set. Be sure to be specific. Ask for your Spirit Guide and ONLY your Spirit Guide to wake you up at a specific time or 5 minutes before your alarm goes off. You need to ask specifically for your Spirit Guide to do this so that no other being or entity interferes with this process. Those of you sensitive to supernatural activity are especially in need of this intention to be clear. We don’t want any negative energy to answer the call to wake you. You only want the divine being known as your Spirit Guide to do this.

What if it doesn’t work? No problem. Think of this as an experiment. If it doesn’t work, ask again the next night. If it still doesn’t work, evaluate your beliefs. If you do not at least think there is a possibility that Spirit can do this, then it may not work. The reason being is that your Spirit Guide honors your beliefs and will do nothing to override what you believe to be true. It is part of the Sacred Laws I mentioned above. Aside from your beliefs, there are other reasons it may not work.

We will get into all the fine print and grander workings of Spirit Guides in our class, “The Spirituality of Spirit Guides.”

How I Became a Spiritual Being While Living a Mundane Life

Awakening requires continual dedication, but it can lead the way to a spiritual life even while having a career and raising a family.

I always thought a lot about spirituality, although I did not grow up in a religious household or regularly attend a church. I admired those who devoted themselves to their beliefs. The praying nun, the meditating monk, and all those who cloistered themselves in silence to hear the divine. I felt they had access to a mystery that was out of reach for me. A mystery I could never learn about or be a part of.

I felt there had to be another path to divine wisdom. Another way to access the esoteric mysteries that held the Truth. One that would not require giving up my entire mundane life and moving into an ashram. In mid-life, this curiosity led me down the path of awakening. I became involved in a Wiccan community, where I took part in inclusive and dynamic spiritual events, classes, and ceremonies. It suited me well. Through these things I was awakening, although I didn’t know it.

Awakening is unique to all who experience it, yet I notice a pattern. The process starts with the rejection of a long-held belief and embracing the potential of all other possibilities. It can come as a sudden realization or a gradual disillusionment. It can shatter one’s world or create the first steps on a long journey of change.

But no matter how it manifests in one’s life, awakening is a quest to seek the Truth.

Whether awakening starts as an “ah-ha” moment or a long discovery, it gets complicated from there. Awakening is a peek behind the veil of illusion. But for those who are not ready for it, untrained in self-awareness techniques, or have unexplored trauma, this can cause chaos and even more illusion. If you awaken without being aware of yourself, it can make your fear, paranoia, depression, or low self-esteem worse.

I had one teacher state it something like this, “when the third eye opens it activates our fears and phobias and our psychic senses.”

Our third eye represents the energy center of awakening, which reveals that which was previously hidden from us. It is the portal to our intuition. It is also the seat of fear. To get to the Truth that was being revealed, I had to address my fears and phobias. That was a very slow process.

Fear has a lot of flavors, hides behind so many assumptions, and manifests in unconscious ways. Fear can grip my heart with a strangling emotion of dread, disguise itself as guilt, it can be judgmental or even self-righteous. Fear manifests in ways that can still surprise me. Most of my fears, and I believe most fears of others, center on our perception of how others see us. The fear of being seen as less-than, not good enough or not fitting in is strong in our world. It motivates our drive for status, money, success, and beauty.

After reflecting on these things, I realized I needed to release the fear of people thinking negatively about me and work towards being unaffected by the perceptions of others. The only way to be authentically me was to let go of the need to please, appease, and garner favor from others. That has taken a great deal of time. The programming ran deep into my childhood and birth culture. It took a lot of time, energy, and fortitude to deprogram what I was born into.

It is a huge process to do this, yet without addressing my fears I would only know partial truths or even misinterpret what I was getting intuitively. Not being able to trust my intuition or my inner wisdom would block any progress I may make on my path of Truth. Accessing my spiritual purpose is reliant on trusting myself. If my fears were making me see things differently and making it hard to trust myself, then why bother continuing? I had to be courageous and face the fears that hid in the deepest recesses of my consciousness. Fear is not as obvious as what we feel when we are in a dangerous situation. Most fears are as quiet as a pin drop, and we must be sensitive to each fluctuation in our thoughts, moods, and energy to notice them.

Pay attention! That is the best spiritual advice I can give anyone. Watch your thoughts and your feelings. See how they influence you. Then ask yourself why you are having those thoughts and feelings. Do it again and again. Do it in meditation, as you are on a peaceful drive, as you bathe, as you live your life in the quiet moments of being. You do not need a special meditation technique to access what hides in the mind. You only need to pay attention to what comes up for you and examine it in a quiet state of mind. Ask yourself why you have that thought or feeling and then be mindful of how it influences you or causes you fear.

This is true self-awareness.

I have grown in extraordinary ways and seen unimaginable things. I walk a path of unprecedented experiences and have access to the deepest wisdom behind the veil of illusion, all because of this practice. It did not come easy. But the more difficulties that came up through this process, the more tools I learned to address them. Each fear I face and every demonstration of trust helps me build the path to take the next step. There is no spiritual path already laid out ahead of me. I must build it with the trust I have in myself.

Awakening may happen in a moment, but it takes discipline, courage, and fortitude to be awakened for a lifetime. Without self-awareness, awakening can become delusional, paranoid, and chaotic. We are seeing a wave of people say they are part of the Great Awakening only to espouse beliefs that cater to fear, such as conspiracy theories. This is not to disparage them but to use that experience as an example. I have no doubt they have awakened, but they have not faced their fears. The fear of the ‘other,’ the fear of not belonging, the fear they are powerless, and so on. Conspiracy theories help us feel validated in our fears and give us meaning behind our feelings of victimhood. This allows us to keep our sense of powerlessness and relinquish control over our belief system and consciousness. This is the antithesis of what awakening sets out to do for us.

In ancient times, the master of any supplicant who had not dealt with their fears did not reveal esoteric practices. Therefore, the process of the master who teaches the acolyte took years of long apprenticeships to ensure they were ready. You can see the great wisdom and reasoning behind this practice. You can see why it takes monks years of discipline to become enlightened, and a hermit may spend their life in solitude to get the connection to divinity they seek.

Awakening is just the beginning. After awakening, the genuine work of the spiritual path begins.

Most of us don’t have religious structures or ancient traditions to help us. We cannot find a master to sweep for. Living in a monastery is not possible. Becoming a hermit is not practical. Relying solely on a tradition to support your awakening is risky because many masters lack integrity, and religious leaders can be corrupt.

We only have ourselves and slivers of moments between caring for others, doing for our boss, maintaining a household, or working in our careers. But in truth, we can use these slivers to support our spiritual path simply by paying attention.

Make it your habit to notice what is going on with you. Be curious about every change of thought or feeling. Ask to know more from yourself and your awakening will not only continue, but it will create a pathway of wonders.

A Spiritual Perspective on “Tarot” the Movie’s Premise

Superstition and spirituality are frequently mistaken as the same thing to capitalize on our fears.

Popular culture has a way of emphasizing what we fear and what we revere as a society. I do my best to keep up with the latest trends and shifts as illustrated in our movies, music, and social media. Yet, I also know how to stay in my lane as far as sharing my opinions on popular topics goes. I pay attention to it but do not comment. My expertise is in the spiritual world.

Pop culture has come into my lane, so I will share my take.

I just saw that there is a movie out called “Tarot” I didn’t have to look at the description to know it was a horror movie. Why wouldn’t it be? Hollywood loves making spiritual practices not only weird but dangerous and even deadly.

It is a way to take advantage of superstitions and fears surrounding occult practices. I don’t blame the movie makers for showing how our lack of spiritual awareness causes us to fear the healing practices of spiritual people. It is par for the course. But it seems it is time to change the course.

Note that I am only going to comment here on the premise of the movie “Tarot.” On Rotten Tomatoes the premise states, “When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings — never use someone else’s deck — they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.”

Let’s first talk about the use of tarot as a spiritual practice. Tarot is a guidance system that helps us navigate our lives. Most often, people use Tarot as a predictor to gain insight into where they are headed. I think of it as high-beam headlights. It allows us to look a little further down the road so we can navigate our lives better by telling us if there will be obstacles ahead. That is all. It is not strange.

Humanity has been using oracles of this nature since prehistory. Such as getting a reading on the energy patterns by throwing the bones, using runes, the yarrow stalks of I Ching, gazing at tea leaves, and such. These methods use random patterns or symbols to see what is to come. The difference with Tarot is that it is a modern oracle, fairly new on the scene of oracle history. But it follows the basic principles. The tarot itself is simply a deck of cards. No one has foreboding feelings about tea because tea leaves can be used as an oracle. Just as a deck of cards is just a deck of cards. I’m pretty sure you can’t trap evil in a deck of cards.

Let us get into the “sacred rule of Tarot readings — never use someone else’s deck…” This foreboding statement is a corruption of the common practice of respecting the spiritual tools of others by not touching them without permission.

Every spiritual practitioner, of every spiritual tradition I know of, has sacred tools. From altars and chalices to stones and cards. The rosary and the jewelry of the ordained. The power tools of the medicine healer such as pipes and drums as used in ceremonies. People treat these objects with respect and acknowledge that only the owner of the objects should touch them. It is a show of respect that they are not touched unless permitted by the owner, carrier, and keeper of them. These are sacred objects because they are objects that bridge the worlds of heaven and earth. It is customary practice to show reverence even if it is not your belief they are sacred. Just like it is customary not to wear someone else’s clothes without their permission. If you were to do it, it would not harm you, but it would be disrespectful.

Tarot decks are sacred objects for the serious spiritual practitioner, so no, you should not use them without the permission of the owner. But if you did, no harm would come to you other than the potential ire of the owner.

Let’s move on to predicting death using tarot. Typically, people do not use Tarot as an efficient method to predict death. But even if it predicted a death, a prediction is not a fact. One reason is that the future has not happened yet. (Theoretically, but let’s not get quantum.)

Correctly interpreting an oracle allows for the shifting, changing, and altering of anything it shows based on the actions that follow the prediction. When using tarot, anytime you get a prediction that is not pleasing, you can also ask tarot what you need to do to avoid that outcome. Back to the headlight analogy. Using the high beams helps avoid obstacles. You don’t see a pothole and think, “Oh well, I guess my tires are goners.” Knowing there is a pothole coming allows you to move out of the way. You can use tarot in the same way. Tarot doesn’t predict your fate; it predicts what lies ahead so you can change what is coming based on your desires. This makes using oracles empowering and even healing for the user.

Superstition is fear-based. Spirituality is faith-based.

Unfortunately, many link the two forms of belief, not seeing that superstition has nothing to do with spirituality. And spirituality is not superstitious.

Storytellers and even religions love to keep us confused on the matter because fear makes money. Fear is big business and keeps us in our smallness. There is a great deal of money being made from fear. Think about what you give your money, time, and attention to, and seek an understanding of why it is important to you.

The greatest step forward to empowerment is self-awareness. Get an understanding of what you fear and why. Do some soul-searching. Ask yourself why you feel the way you do. Ask yourself if it is reasonable or true for you to believe what you believe. Do this with everything you believe as it comes up, focusing on what makes you uncomfortable and dive deep into it.

Once you have a greater understanding of your fears, no one, not any one person in this world, can manipulate you.

Shedding your fears means you will be free to discover your true potential through any means, practice, or belief without censoring who you are.

Imagine a world in which our movies reflected the consciousness of wholeness and not fear. What if our popular culture’s media showed spiritual practices leading us out of our fears and into the most authentic version of ourselves? Instead of raising ghouls from the underworld, what if movies showed rituals that brought healing? What if there was a plot with an oracle reading that guides someone towards their most empowering experience? What if we see spiritual practices as taking us out of the darkest fears and into the Truth?

Those movies would be something worth seeing.

How I Learned to Use My Intuition to Change My Life

From the ashes of pain, I found a path to happiness.

I felt I could learn to use intuition, just like I could learn any other skill. Since I learned how to play piano, although I had no natural talent for it, then I could also learn how to use my intuition. Everyone is born with intuitive gifts. It was a matter of understanding how my own worked.

I knew I had it. I knew I had precognition giving me nudges to do something that would make my life easier. So many times, I talked myself out of following it. I would get intuitive hits so randomly and so quietly that I would brush them aside as my imagination or just ignore them entirely.

For example, I would get a thought floating in that I should get some butter as I walked the aisle of the market, only to talk myself out of it. Only to get home and realize I needed more butter for a recipe. Other times I would get a feeling. Such as, when doing some mindless tasks, I would get a feeling that I should call a friend just to brush it aside. Yet, finding out later that they were thinking of me at that time.

How could I grow my intuition, trust it every time, and get even more intuitive hits to improve my life?

I was determined to figure it out.

During that time, my life had profoundly fallen apart in all areas. My job, my marriage, and my health were gone. I needed to rebuild my life from scratch. Until that point, I had been doing all the things “right”. I was doing what I thought would bring me happiness, but even before I lost it all, I knew I was not happy.

Doing the “right thing” was not right for me. Now I needed to do what I wanted. But what was that? I had lost my sense of self to the point of not even knowing what I wanted. So, I turned to my inner world. I needed to rebuild everything about my life, but this time it would be on my terms and from the inside out.

I was already spiritually curious, so that was a good place to start. All the books I had read on spirituality said everyone is intuitive, but none of those books explained how to use it. There was no guidebook on living on one’s intuition. I knew of no book that got into details on how to grow it, what it was really like, or even what it really is. That didn’t matter. I was determined with all the will I could muster to figure it out for myself.

I experimented.

My very first step was to make a deal with myself. I decided I would follow every intuitive ‘hit’ I got, no matter what. If I suddenly felt the need to buy milk at the store, I would do it. If I got the nudge to call someone out of the blue, I did it. If I had the urge to leave early for work, I did it. And so on.

The problem was that with every hit, nudge and urge came the doubts. Doubts are powerful things. Having doubts is human and important to discern and determine the truth of one’s experiences. Yet, through this experiment, I got to know how toxic they could be and how dominant they were in my consciousness.

With every nudge to pick up something unplanned from the store came a barrage of negativity as my inner dialogue. It went something like this:

“What do you need that for?” “There is plenty of that at home.” “Do you think you are psychic or something?” “This is just bullshit.”

This was so common in the weeks early on that it was like a bully was living in my head. My doubts were so very loud, far louder than the soft, quiet, and subtle energy of the intuitive nudges that it was almost tormenting to do this practice. But as I have previously mentioned, I was determined.

What I first found out was that I was only right about fifty percent of the time. It was not as accurate as I thought it should be. So, I studied the differences between what it felt like when it was right and when it was wrong. The energy of the correct hits, nudges, and urges were so quiet as to be missed at times. When it was my intuition, there were subtle whispers in the back of my mind or gentle feelings. The hits could also come as a fleeting image or a whisper of a word. They came when I had a quiet mind. They came when I was receptive and my mind was relaxed, like when I was driving, showering, wandering the aisle of the grocery store, doing dishes, and so on. Even reading or watching a show was a place where I could get a hit.

When my mind was active, anxious, or busy with drama, the ‘hits’ I got were from that chaotic place. Those hits were loud. They had an energy of urgency about them. “Do this now” kind of thing. Like an infomercial telling you to buy now or they will be out of stock! Call that friend and hurry! Leave now or else! The funny thing about those hits was that they never had doubts attached to them. They were powerful and demanding without a hint of thinking they might be ‘bullshit’. Very interesting. Another interesting thing about those hits is that they were always wrong.

Those urgent feelings and thoughts were never in doubt, but always wrong.

This gave me the beginnings of a deeper understanding of how to work with and grow my intuition. The loud and demanding voice was the voice of my wounded ego. Fearful of losing dominance, my ego was creating doubts with no merit and giving me false ‘intuitive’ hits. What came from the chaotic mind were guesses and assumptions based on my fears, worries, and anxieties.

The only way to address this was to face my fears. At first, this meant standing up to the bully. I fought back by arguing with the negative programming going on in my head. It was a losing battle. This bully just got meaner and louder the more I fought it. So, I gave in. I let the bully have its way. I let that inner dialogue of toxicity run rampant. When it said this is all bullshit, I was fool to try listening to my intuition, and I’m delusional that this is even real, I agreed it might be right.

Then a miracle occurred.

It was silent. The toxic bully had nothing to fight with. When I agreed it was probably right and I was a fool to listen to my intuition or even think I could be psychic at all, it had nothing left to say. Silence. My mind settled, and I could do as I wished without torment. Once I agreed with the toxic thoughts, I could get on with my experiment in peace. All it wanted was a bit of attention.

Even more than power or control, all the ego wants is attention.

Therefore, I learned to listen to my doubts, my toxic thoughts, and my old childhood wounds. After listening, I agreed they are valid, and I will consider them. Then I would mentally state, “Just for today I will listen to my intuition.”

With that statement, the doubts would be silent so I could pay attention to the messages that float up from the unconscious. Those subtle gifts came into conscious awareness easier, always sharing the truth, always right, and always through peace.

I learned that when it truly is an intuitive hit, nudge, or insight, it is always right. I also noticed it is always subtle, not attached to any urgency or demanding energy. It could come in many forms. It can be an image in the inner eye, a thought out of the blue, a feeling something is needed, or a word in the mind. However it comes, it is always gentle. When conjured from the wounded ego, it has an urgency or demanding energy that is like a guess and is just as accurate as guessing the lotto numbers. When it is from the ego and not the intuition, then it is always wrong.

This knowledge gave me the power to follow my intuition with confidence. Then my intuition became more active and accurate. I think of it as my navigation system, telling me which way to go, what is needed, and when to act. It is a predictor and a reminder. It also never has an urgent or fearful energy behind it.

After learning this and working with my intuition over time, I navigated my life differently and, in quiet ways, the fresh path I was forging became clear. I found my passion, awakened a deeper understanding of myself, and navigated my doubts with ease.

I started this way and built upon it. I am now a professional psychic with great accuracy. But it started just as I stated above. Once I listened to those soft nudges and gave my doubts the attention they craved, I learned how to access my intuition on purpose so that I could help others. Now I will teach you all I have learned. I know how to grow the gifts we are all born with. I started with just as much psychic power as you have.

Try my experiment. Make a deal with yourself. Just for today. Just for today, follow those subtle nudges and see what happens. When doubts show up, acknowledge, and agree with them, then listen to your nudges, anyway. See if it changes things. Then do it again tomorrow. Repeat and continue daily until it changes things.

Your doubts will always have plenty to tell you. Just listen, agree, and then watch how the quiet thoughts show up.

The Evolution of Human Consciousness and the Death of the Guru.

Every day, it seems either a spiritual teacher gets exposed as a fraudster or they find an inspirational motivator corrupt. You need not rely on dubious gurus with lifestyles that do not match their teachings to support and grow on your spiritual path.

You are your greatest spiritual teacher. Your own wisdom is more valuable than books, teachers, and gurus when you can trust your intuition and practice self-awareness practices. Yet, there are secrets to accessing this wisdom. It takes some tools to get to consistent radical self-trust and get to the guidance hidden in higher consciousness.

Like many people, you’ve likely learned to distrust yourself and ignore your instincts, intuition, and insights. Since childhood, they taught you to disregard your inner wisdom and doubt yourself. The first time someone said they weren’t sad when you could feel they were, they implanted doubt. Through these types of instances, you felt you were more often wrong than right. Your young self placed trust in the wisdom of your elders over your own insight. Adults who wish to hide their feelings must control an intuitive child, and this becomes a pattern into adulthood. Later in life, you could be subject to manipulators who often target sensitives and psychics, using doubt as a tool against them. The result of this is that the more psychic you are, the more doubt you may have.

I have found that lack of trust in self affects every part of our interactions with others.

We are susceptible to manipulation, deception, and fear-based actions if we do not trust ourselves. Not trusting ourselves makes it impossible to trust in a higher power, like divinity or the universe.

Undoing that kind of programming requires understanding your operating system. It takes time, patience, and specialized tools. Ancient spirituality had ways to seek the truth within and heal the wounds of doubt. There are also new tools for spiritual guidance coming from higher consciousness that we may feel called to use. Following the ways of the masters, sages, and avatars, new and old, will make trusting yourself much easier.

Trusting oneself is the keystone to a better life.

With self-trust, it is easy to address and heal insecurities and low self-esteem. Fear or doubt cannot manipulate you from centering your life on your own innate wisdom.

Trusting yourself is knowing when your doubts and fears have merit and when they are unconscious responses to old wounds. Knowing which they are allows you to be empowered in your decisions and actions. Doubts and fears can become stepping stones to self-awareness and inner wisdom. Instead of forces that drive you unconsciously, they become forces to heal you consciously. Ignoring, suppressing, or denying fear and doubt is not trust, but arrogance. Arrogance is the weapon of the ego that is damaging if not quelled.

Authentic trust in oneself is the foundation of a wise, insightful, inspired, and empowered journey through life.

It is ever present within you.

It has no need and no desire.

It does not want attention or love.

It does not want money or status.

It is the noblest part of you that is

beauty without glamor,

joy without celebration,

success without status,

wealth without opulence,

love without condition.

It is connected to Divinity.

It is at One with the Universe.

It is well grounded on the Earth.

Let us call it your Noble Heart and once you know it, you see the illusion of seeking the external trappings your Noble Heart innately holds.

The Noble Heart contains everything you desire.

Until one knows the nobility within, getting praise, status, success, love, and wealth will not fill the void or bring joy, and it will never be enough.

The courageous seek to know their heart. The first step in claiming the nobility within is to reject what others think of you and get to know what you think of yourself.

Discovering your Noble Heart can lead to questioning all that you thought you knew about you and your life.

Then you will be amazed.

Love isn’t marriage with children. Success isn’t the biggest paycheck. Self-value has nothing to do with being likable or popular. Beauty has nothing to do with appearance. Money has nothing to do with power.

Once you embrace these discoveries and continue your path of awareness, you see the power you once denied you had, and no one told you about.

Your power. You were born with it. Like a lord of noble lineage, you, too, have a birthright of power and abundance.

Knowing your power is knowing your Noble Heart. Once you know your Noble Heart, the illusion of all the things you used to want from the world becomes what you find within. The things you desired to feel successful, to feel validated, to feel important, no longer will have a hold on you.

You are free. And then, it is easy to be in the joyful flow of all you wish to have. You will find it is also easy to be kind, to be generous, to be of service, and to be true to yourself. Authentic nobility is humble, gracious, kind, and loving. There is no need for any external recognition or competition to be the best. The best version of you is simply waiting for you to get to know it, recognize it, and allow it to be a guiding force in your life.

I will do a short class series to help awaken and work with your Noble Heart. Join us for a series led by my teacher, White Eagle, featuring spiritual healing practices and journeys to awaken your noble heart.

Is Being of Service Your Destiny?

How to live within the power of your truth

I remember having the belief that if I were truly spiritual, I would be in a convent or an ashram or some holy order. I thought I would be called by God to devote my life to their service and pray or meditate all day.

But, when I started getting serious about my spiritual path, I had a toddler, a job, a husband, and all that goes with living in the world. Sometimes in my sleep-deprived, overwrought, and exhausted mind, I thought it would be great to commune with Divinity day and night sequestered in the cell of a grand ancient hermitage. But it never happened. I was never called. Oh well, I went ahead with my spiritual path, even though it was not my calling.

Before I got a tarot deck, I had heard that you must be gifted your first tarot deck and should never buy your own. Well, my curiosity got the better of me and I couldn’t wait for that. I couldn’t wait for recognition from others and bought one. To my mind, I was not a true psychic because no mysterious person handed me a cloth covered and crystal-blessed tarot deck saying, “this is for you”. Oh well, I thought, I’m going to learn tarot, anyway.

I’ve heard of people being told they had some past lives as healers or priestesses, that this lifetime was to fulfill that purpose once again. Some were even quite famous! The past life readings I have had were very ordinary and boring. I am no one special and have nothing to share with the world as ordained by my soul’s gifts yet to be realized. Oh well.

I’m nothing special. I haven’t been called. My soul has no buried gifts to show me. No other psychic has ever even told me I’m psychic. Yet, I have worked and grown into a full-time psychic, healer and spiritual teacher, anyway. I had a good number of readings before I worked on my spiritual and psychic growth, yet no one ever predicted that. No one said, “you will be a spiritual teacher.” Not one. Even if I got a reading from a stranger now, after doing this work for over twenty years, they would not see it.

I wonder why that is.

Thank goodness when I wonder about something and puzzle over it, my guide will tell me, show me, and help me understand.

The important part of what he taught me about is this: I had to choose it. So, as was my natural course of evolution, I chose it and did not feel that something predetermined it for me. That was the only way I could live the truth of who I was. No one could tell me who I was. It was my discovery to make.

Even though my belief was that I had no business doing spiritual work on any level, my heart called me forward and my undaunted curiosity led the way.

Being ‘called’ to do spiritual service is a fallacy. It doesn’t really happen that way. The only thing that calls to us is our own hearts. Being called into spiritual service, being called to heal, or do ceremonies, being called to channel beings from other worlds, is a desire.

If it is the desire from your heart, it is your destiny.

If it is the desire of the ego to elevate your status, then it is your illusion and will not end well. Ego and Spirit do not mix. Ego driven spiritual people will crash their lives and burn out. They end up with some crisis or another. Some call it a crisis of faith as disillusionment creeps in. Some just keep going, digging into using their false spirituality to feed their ego as their lives fall apart. The psychic’s predictions or the feeling of being called is an illusion that feeds the ego into believing it has some grand purpose. It gives the believer the feeling that they are going to save the world.

People under the illusion that they are living out some profound spiritual destiny are only in it for the ego boost it gives them. Some feel if they don’t do a certain ceremony or send healing to the Earth, all will fall apart. They have an imperative urgency in doing as Spirit says, or disaster looms for humanity.

Poppycock.

The Earth heals herself. We can become in alignment with her healing power with ceremonies and support her with prayer, but she’s a very capable being. She made, supports and nurtures you. Even with the environmental crisis we currently face, if humanity left the Earth, she would heal just fine. So, our ‘helping’ her heal is just us trying to reverse our toxic ways so we can stay living here. Her healing power can heal everything. We need to ask her for our healing.

Spirit needs nothing from you, either. The Divine aspect of the heavens, whether you call them Creator, Goddess, Allah, Brahma, God, or the All That Is, made all the Universe and everything in it. What could they possibly need from you? What service could you supply Spirit that they could not supply for themselves? You need Spirit to help you live in this world and asking for help from them is all they desire from you.

Spirit and the Earth require nothing from you. You are here to live the life of your choice.

My guide would never tell me what to do for a living. I do this work because my heart desires to and because of that; it brings me joy.

On a similar note, Spirit will never tell me who to be with. It is my choice. If there is a deep soul connection, like a soulmate or twin flame, it is still up to me if I want to be with that person. There is no mandate about who I should live my life with. I do not have to marry anyone or stay single for any purpose other than my heart’s desire.

Living in this world is about choosing our own path and exploring it for as long as we wish. It is always good to ask for help and guidance from Spirit and healing from the Earth, but those things are not a requirement.

There is nothing special about me, or even special about you, except that all the Heavens and this bountiful Earth are at your service.

Ever Changing Beliefs

Shifting your belief system can change your world, but if you don’t know why you believe something, then it’s difficult to shift.

There are two kinds of belief. One is what we are told to believe. These are things like social norms or religious ideals. The other is what we experience and see for ourselves, which are things like natural and even ordinary occurrences like the sunrise. We all believe the sun will rise every morning, but not all of us believe in Divinity.

Think about why you believe in Spirit (or not). Is it an experience or what you have been told to believe?

Once you understand why you believe what you believe, you can see if it is the truth or not the truth for you. You can choose to let it go or keep it. This work is especially important for those who believe they are less than others. Even if you know this is not true, you could be operating as though it is, unconsciously.

There are ways to release and reset your belief system to reprogram your unconscious from living an outdated program, into living the truth as you know it. Simply exploring and delving into why it is the way it is can help release the negative ways in which it is creating the life you don’t want or does not serve you anymore.

As you grow and change into the wisest version of yourself, so too must what you used to think was true grow and change to embrace that wisdom.

Seekers on the spiritual path wish to know Divinity on their own terms but with this awakening comes the need to be self-aware at a new level. It is imperative to allow for redefining what it means to be spiritual and what the truth is for you.

Release attachment to belief and ask your guidance to show you the amazing gifts it has to offer way beyond belief and into the heart of Truth.

Manifesting with Spirit Guides to Live the Life of Your Dreams

Get all you need before you even know that you need it.

Prayers, candles, incense, and smudge. Following the moon cycles and aligning your essence to your intention or kneeling amongst parishioners on a holy day. A quiet ceremony under the moonlight or an altar set up amid clutter. Gathering in a forest meadow or an urban park. A desperate prayer after a night of indulgence or by the bedside of a loved one. A chant that echos through a cathedral or drum that harmonizes with the Earth’s rhythm. All ways of spirituality have an avenue connected to the heart of Divinity.

In prayer and ceremony, we are reminded that we are not alone. We do not have to shoulder every burden alone. There are blessings, gifts, and miracles to ease our burdens, soothe our minds, and settle our hearts. It is enough to ask through a holy ceremony or a prayer by a commode in a pub.

If it is a sincere request and you genuinely hand it over to Spirit, you will always get what you ask for.

There are some caveats, of course. Divinity adheres to Sacred Law, and they will not fulfill any request that is out of integrity with those laws. Nevertheless, understanding the power of Sacred Law is one way that will help you work with Spirit and grow easily on your spiritual path.

There is even more to getting help from Divinity than that. More ways to make your life easier before asking through prayer and ceremony. We need some things we did not even know we needed before the crisis occurred.

We can ask them to give us what we need before we need it.

How would your life be if you were provided for before the emergency or the holy day? What if Divinity came to escort you through life and helped you before the crisis? Gave you what you needed before you even knew you needed it?

One day I was teaching a class where we had a meditation led by my Spirit Guide. During the journey, we were all standing on a beach. I could see this vision very clearly. I could see my Guide on the beach with us. He told everyone that there was a treasure in the sand for us. I watched as they all looked around and picked up their treasure. Then I saw my Guide pick something up out of the sand. He walked over to me and held it out. He was holding in his hand a little Matchbox-sized SUV. Holding his palm out flat, he said, “This is for you, but you must accept it.” I shrugged and said, “Okay, I accept.” Then he handed it to me.

We finished the journey, and I didn’t think much of it, even though it was unusual for him to address me during a class for others. And it was strange to get this gift from him, but like with all my work with him, I have a wait-and-see attitude. So, I waited to see what it meant over time. I hadn’t been shopping for or trying to manifest a car. So, I gave it no more thought.

One week later, my ex-husband called me out of the blue and said he wanted to buy me a car. Then he sent me a photo from the dealership, and it was the exact car that my Guide, White Eagle, handed me in miniature during that vision on the beach.

Spirit had never given me something I hadn’t asked for before. That experience made me dig deeper into all the ways Spirit will help us manifest.

Their role is to help us have the life that we dream of or a life that is even ten times better than we could dream of having.

In other words, we can choose any path we like, live any way we want and hold any belief system. If we ask them, they can escort us along the way, anticipating and providing what we need before we even ask.

All we need is an acute awareness of our hidden beliefs and an understanding of the ways of Divinity. Then, being escorted by Spirit to make your life free of barriers and clearing the pathway to the life of your dreams is easy to do. It is also what Spirit’s dearest wish is. Spirit wishes for you to live a life of joy. Not a life of devotion or sacrifice, not a life of service or solitude. A life of joy.

Their wish is for you to live a life of joy, and their job is to help you do so.

Yet, since the first Sacred Law is the Law of Free Will, they cannot supersede your desires. If you have a hidden desire to do something out of spite, jealousy, or harm, they cannot overpower that and will not support it. You need to understand your intentions and dig deep into what they are, to know if what you asked for is out of alignment with Sacred Law. If your will is blocking your desire, Spirit cannot take the lead. Your will is the law of the land on Earth.

Spirit can only do what we allow them to do for us.

In other words, this may not work if the wounded ego is in the way. Because of all the unknown blocks in the subconscious, this straightforward request for an escort through life can become complicated.

So let’s get into it.

Although I cannot give all the practices and insights to help you do this in a single article, I can offer a class. It will include all I know about manifesting with Spirit, and we will get new information directly from my Guide.
